Resources to Serve Veterans: A Comprehensive Guide to Frequently and Successfully Used Resources

In this webinar recording, NVTI Instructor Greg Davis and Nikkol Wymer of DOL VETS discussed resources to locate applicable guidance and regulations, identify resources for Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) specialists, and identify resources for Local Veterans' Employment Representative (LVER) staff. They discussed resources specific to serving veterans with significant barriers to employment as well as other special veteran populations and topics to include rural veterans, American Indian and Alaska Native veterans, LGBTQ+ veterans, veterans with addictions, and suicide prevention for veterans. They also discussed resources for recruiting and hiring veterans, apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and retaining veterans.
