JVSG Companion Programs: DOL Employment and Training Administration (ETA)
The DOL Employment and Training Administration (ETA) administers federal government job training and worker dislocation programs, federal grants to states for public employment service programs, and unemployment insurance benefits. These services are primarily provided through state and local workforce development systems and your American Job Centers.

JVSG Companion Programs: DOL VETS Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration

Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG) Program
The Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG) program provides federal funding, through a formula grant, to 54 State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) to hire dedicated staff to provide individualized career and training-related services to veterans and eligible persons with significant barriers to employment and to assist employers fill their workforce needs with job-seeking veterans.

Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP)
The Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership connects military spouses with partner employers.

National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA)
The National Association of State Workforce Agencies delivers training, employment, career, and business services, in addition to administering the unemployment insurance, veteran reemployment, and labor market information programs.

National Coalition for Homeless Veterans
The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans is the leading authority on homeless veterans’ issues and the only national organization solely focused on ending veteran homelessness. They work to achieve their mission by promoting collaboration, shaping policy, building service capacity, ensuring accountability, and managing a referral helpline for veterans experiencing and at-risk of homelessness. They are the resource and technical assistance center for a national network of community-based service providers and local, state, and federal agencies that provide housing, employment services, case management, legal aid, and other supportive services to thousands of veterans experiencing or at-risk of homelessness each year.

National Veterans’ Training Institute (NVTI)
National Veterans’ Training Institute (NVTI) was established to develop and enhance the professional skills of veterans’ employment and training service providers throughout the United States.

National Labor Exchange
The National Labor Exchange is a public-private partnership between DirectEmployers and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies. DirectEmployers is a nonprofit Member-owned and -managed association formed in 2001 by 14 leading Fortune 500 companies searching for a way to reduce recruiting costs, while regaining ownership of their recruitment brand. Now with around 900 employers varying in industry and size, Member benefits include online recruiting solutions, the Partner Relationship Manager (PRM), networking and educational opportunities and more.
