JVSG Companion Programs: DOL Employment and Training Administration (ETA)
The DOL Employment and Training Administration (ETA) administers federal government job training and worker dislocation programs, federal grants to states for public employment service programs, and unemployment insurance benefits. These services are primarily provided through state and local workforce development systems and your American Job Centers.

PAVE Paves the Way for Paralyzed Veterans Seeking Employment
Paving Access for Veterans Employment (PAVE) has helped more than 4,100 veterans, military spouses, and caregivers find meaningful work by providing free employment support and vocational counseling assistance.

How Telehealth Is Changing Healthcare for Veterans
One of the tools that has facilitated telehealth for veterans is VA Video Connect, which allows Veterans and their caregivers to quickly and easily meet with VA health care providers through live video on any computer, tablet, or mobile device.

Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG) Program
The Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG) program provides federal funding, through a formula grant, to 54 State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) to hire dedicated staff to provide individualized career and training-related services to veterans and eligible persons with significant barriers to employment and to assist employers fill their workforce needs with job-seeking veterans.

National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA)
The National Association of State Workforce Agencies delivers training, employment, career, and business services, in addition to administering the unemployment insurance, veteran reemployment, and labor market information programs.

National Coalition for Homeless Veterans
The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans is the leading authority on homeless veterans’ issues and the only national organization solely focused on ending veteran homelessness. They work to achieve their mission by promoting collaboration, shaping policy, building service capacity, ensuring accountability, and managing a referral helpline for veterans experiencing and at-risk of homelessness. They are the resource and technical assistance center for a national network of community-based service providers and local, state, and federal agencies that provide housing, employment services, case management, legal aid, and other supportive services to thousands of veterans experiencing or at-risk of homelessness each year.

The National Labor Exchange is a public-private partnership between DirectEmployers and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies.
